Cataract Surgery
A cataract is the name given to the natural lens inside the eye when it has become cloudy or less clear in appearance.
Laser Refractive Surgery
Paediatric Ophthalmology
Children can suffer from a number of eye problems. With early diagnosis many of these can be managed effectively.
Macular Degeneration
Macular Degeneration is the name given to the group of eye diseases that affect the retina, causing progressive loss of the central (reading) vision.
Glaucoma
Glaucoma is the name given to a group of eye conditions in which the optic nerve at the back of the eye is slowly damaged and vision deteriorates.
Pterygium
A fibrovascular, benign growth on the front surface of eye. It is thought to occur from long term sun exposure.
Lid Diseases
Blepharitis is inflammation of the eyelids. Oil and bacteria coat the edge of the eyelid, near the base of the eyelashes.
Retinal Vascular Disease
Retinal vascular occlusion affects the eye, specifically the retina. The retina is the light-sensitive layer of tissue that lines the back of your eye.
Diabetic Eye Disease
These conditions include diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, cataracts, and glaucoma.
